Founded in 1996, Qingdao Fortune Logistics Co., Ltd. is a well-known NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) and a top logistics services provider in handling hazardous chemical products in Qingdao. It has a staff of 80.
Based in Qingdao, Fortune Logistics is focused on the local market and does not have branch offices in other cities. However, it has a strong agent network in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other parts of the world. It has more than 40 agents worldwide; 26 of them are exclusive. Its high quality management system and diversified logistics expertise assures Fortune Logistics can provide customers with full chartering, booking, customs clearance, transshipments and other point-to-point logistics services.
The transport of hazardous chemical products is its core business. Fortune Logistics is one of the few companies at the Port of Qingdao that can provide cargo warehousing, packaging, consolidation, wrapping, marking and other integrated logistics services for hazardous chemicals. A staff of eight is in charge of monitoring port-site loading and unloading at the seaport. Three of them have state-approved “Hazardous Goods Packing Certificates” and two of them received Maritime Bureau issued “Declaration of Hazardous Cargo Operator’s Certificates.”
Fortune Logistics is the booking agent for Hapag-Lloyd, HYUNDAI, K-Line, MSC, RCL and ZIM. It also maintains good relationships with ANL, APL, Hanjin, KMTC, Maersk, NORASIA, PIL, and other well-known shipping companies, and signed a competitive contract rate for their preponderant shipping route. Fortune Logistics handles chemical products such as food additives (citric acid, sodium cyclamate and glucose, etc.), hazardous goods categories 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and ISO tank products (main transport products include calcium hypochlorite, thiourea dioxide, sodium hydrosulfite, xanthate, barium nitrate, sodium nitrate, sodium nitrite, sodium dichloroisocyanurate, TCCA, barium carbonate, formic acid, nitric acid, etc.).
Sinochem Corporation and Shandong Haihua Group are customers of Fortune Logistics. It’s been working with Sinochem since 2003. In 2006, Fortune Logistics signed an agency agreement with the world’s leading tank company, EXSIF Worldwide, Inc. and since has transported hundreds of various types of tanks around the world.

In 2012, Fortune Logistics’ import and export cargo traffic reached 65,000 TEUs (20′ container/trailer equivalent units). Europe and the Mediterranean accounted for 35% of this traffic, Southeast Asia and the Middle East accounted for 15% each, North America, South America and Africa made up 10% each and other regions accounted for the rest.
