Important niche specialists like BNSF Logistics, Echo Global Logistics, Freightquote, LMS, Luis Simoes, SCI Logistics, and Transplace are reviewed in detail.
“Since our first publication in 1994, our guides have become a primary information source for third-party logistics market information,” said Evan Armstrong, president of Armstrong & Associates. “We are pleased at the increasing number of 3PLs being covered and the expansion of global coverage, especially in Asia. We are striving to continually build upon our goal of having information not available anywhere else. 132 of the 3PL profiles highlight international providers. Each profile includes assessments of the 3PLs overall capabilities, strengths and weaknesses and identifies 3PLs with the requisite capabilities necessary to be classified as Tier 1 Global Supply Chain Managers. These providers have extensive IT capabilities, over 5,000 employees and provide service to 90% or more of the world’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).”
The two volumes contain 1,622 pages of information. They are available as PDF file versions or via an Internet on-demand version as an annual subscription. Online subscribers also receive the PDF file versions of the guide with their annual subscription. For premium market information, companies often purchase our Expert Information Service (EIS) which includes an Online guide subscription, our annual financial, warehousing, and customers of 3PLs reports, and four hours of phone consulting for a discounted price.
