Founded in 2002, Beijing East Express Logistics Co., Ltd. (BEEL) is a state-owned company invested in by the Beijing Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives. Its founding business was warehousing. Today, it is an integrated logistics provider with over 400 employees focused on value-added warehousing and distribution, inland transportation, bonded warehouse operations and supply chain management. It is headquartered in the Beijing Tongzhou Logistics Industry Base, with five branch offices in Beijing and owned offices in Tianjin and Hebei.

BEEL has 300,000 square meters of warehousing space and 60 owned trucks to provide distribution in Beijing and other cities in North China around Beijing, such as Tianjin and Hebei.

Beijing Benz is one of BEEL’s customers. BEEL distributes automotive parts from the warehouse to Benz 4S stores in North China. The lead time to stores in Beijing is one day and for other destinations in North China it is two days. Because of BEEL’s good performance, it has kept a long-term cooperation with Beijing Benz.

Haier, a well-known electronics and appliances manufacturer in China, is another major customer of BEEL. BEEL picks up the goods from the factory and delivers them to the regional distribution center (RDC) in Beijing. The warehousing, inventory management and all the distribution from the warehouse to the end customers is done by BEEL. Electronic data interchange (EDI) is used so that the customer can easily track the goods. BEEL also provides reverse logistics services for Haier. Besides Beijing Benz and Haier, other BEEL customers include Panasonic, Mitsubishi and Midea.

For inland transportation, BEEL provides truckload service from Beijing to Shanghai. However, this is not BEEL’s main focus – distribution is.

For warehousing, BEEL leases warehouse space to other logistics companies, including DHL.

Since BEEL is a state-owned company, with professional experience in warehousing and distribution in Beijing and North China, BEEL is a good option for multinational companies in need of domestic logistics services in North China.
