About Armstrong & Associates, Inc.

Armstrong & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1980 by Richard Armstrong. A&A initially provided assistance to motor carriers transitioning from a regulated to deregulated environment. In 1984 A&A directed its first logistics outsourcing project and assisted a client in converting its private fleet to dedicated contract carriage. The client realized significant savings and A&A gained a presence as a logistics outsourcing specialist.

Ongoing logistics outsourcing projects focused on helping clients develop solid relationships with 3PLs. Eventually this outsourcing work led A&A to share its 3PL industry knowledge in the first edition of Who's Who in Logistics published in 1995. Along the way A&A's consulting practice has helped many clients. From fortune 100 shippers and major 3PLs to small motor carriers, A&A has assisted in improving operations and increasing profits.
