Han Wan International Logistics (China) Co., Ltd. is based in Shanghai with branch offices in Lianyungang, Nanjing, Nantong, Ningbo, Yangzhou, Hong Kong and Singapore. The company was founded in 2000. Its founding business was ocean freight forwarding with a focus on LCL (less-than-container load) shipments. Its sister company, Success International Logistics (China) Co., Ltd., was established in 2007 to handle hazardous goods. The company has over 500 employees.

Han Wan Logistics has an NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) license, and contracts with carriers such as Wan Hai Lines, Yang Ming Maritime Transport, etc. Han Wan Logistics has an LCL consolidation service for exports from China to Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. LCL consolidation shipments are its focus. Its annual cargo volume is around 380,000 cubic meters. Its import business is mainly from Germany to China’s base ports. Hong Kong and Singapore are main transit sea ports in Asia. Han Wan Logistics has owned offices there to provide more receiving destinations. In these destinations, Han Wan Logistics uses local agents to handle the break bulk operation and customer service.

In Shanghai, Han Wan Logistics has a 280,000 square meter warehouse for handling both exports and imports. It has a fleet of 20 trucks it uses for picking up LCL shipments. It also has a customs clearance license.

Its hazardous goods sister company, Success International Logistics, mainly handles hazardous goods classes 2-9. Success International Logistics primarily provides hazardous cargo consolidation service, full container load, tank containers, flexi tank, air freight, gas tank, including customs clearance, storage and delivery. Its hazardous cargo consolidation service can be referred to as LCL shipments for hazardous goods. This service can help shippers save money when shipping hazardous goods. The team can also handle hazardous goods on import shipments. The hazardous goods warehouse is around 100,000 square meters. Success International Logistics has a RQHSE (Risk, Quality, Health, Security and Environment) control system to monitor and assure the safe delivery of goods.

For its ISO tank business, Success International Logistics is the exclusive agent of Innovacion Contenedor. It has established relationships with trucking companies for handling hazardous goods throughout China. It also collaborates with domestic ocean carriers that provide feeder service.

Han Wan Logistics does business with both small logistics companies which make up 40% of the business and direct customers which make up 60%. As a key LCL service provider, Han Wan Logistics needs the cargo volume from small logistics providers to save on cost. Making small 3PLs important to its business model.
