Founded in 2004, Everlink International Logistics Co., Ltd. (Everlink) is a fairly new company based in Kunshan, China. With over 500 employees, it generated $70 million in gross revenue in 2010.

Everlink’s business focus is on air and ocean freight forwarding. It holds an NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) license for ocean freight, a Class A license for air freight and a customs clearance license. Its handles 110,000 TEUs (trailer equivalent units) of ocean freight (80,000 export TEUs and 30,000 import TEUs) and 360,000 air freight shipments annually.

Everlink has a good sales team and built strong relationships with its customers. It has a high-tech vertical focus with customers that include: ASUSTeK Computer, BenQ and Hewlett-Packard. Everlink does not have its own overseas network but has built a network with more than 100 global agents providing quality, door-to-door service to its customers. In turn, Everlink provides support in China to its agents. All the FOB (free on board) business it receives from agents is doing very well.

Because there aren’t any airports or seaports in Kunshan, all exports are shipped via Shanghai. For inland transportation, Everlink has its own 60 truck fleet. In addition, it has 300 dedicated trucks it subcontracts during peak seasons.

Everlink has branch offices in Chengdu, Chongqing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Wuxi. It owns a warehouse in Foshan that is 12,000 square meters, and its total warehouse space is over 70,000 square meters.

According to Everlink’s Deputy Manager, Kevin Wang, Everlink is a profitable company in a good period of development. With its high-tech customer base, the network it has built in China and the success it has had over the past seven years, we foresee strong growth for Everlink in the years to come.
